Tim Hagans, an excellent hard bop-oriented trumpeter, has made records with Bob Belden, Lovano, Rick Margitza, John Hart, and the Yellowjackets, and has worked with the big bands of Bob Mintzer, Maria Schneider, and the Gil Evans orchestra.
