Featuring Cellists Alexei Romanenko and Sofia Every Funded by UNF Student Government
Alexei and Sofia sit together as principal and assistant principal in the cello section of the Jacksonville Symphony.
As if that were not enough, they actually enjoy playing recitals together! This particular recital features works by contemporary composers. When we say contemporary, we not only mean composers who are still living, but composers who dress well and wear small glasses!
This program will contain pieces by Popper, Klengel, Tescari, Paert, Ligetti, Gubaidulina, Kilar/Romanenko, and maybe a piece or two by some talented Jacksonvillle composers.
