ATTENTION SECONDARY MATHEMATICS TEACHERS

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics will award scholarships during each Fall, Spring and Summer semester for students to take mathematics or mathematics method courses (except Elementary Education methods).
 
Conditions:  Recipient must be accepted in or have a current application to UNF’s 
College of Education Masters Program in Mathematics Education.
Amounts:  Applicants are eligible for $400.00 for each graduate mathematic or mathematic method course, and $200.00 for each undergraduate mathematic method course. Elementary Education Methods are excluded.
Application Process: 
Submit a letter of interest by:
- December 1 for Fall       - April 1 for Spring       - July 1 for Summer

and include the following:1. Verification of the candidate’s being accepted into the graduate program in mathematics education or having of a current application pending.

2. A statement of course or courses in mathematics or mathematic methods candidate plans to enroll, or is enrolled in, for the semester that the scholarship is requested. Courses must be a requirement or prerequisite to the program.

3. A current UNF transcript or transcript indicating most recent degree.
