The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Florida invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professors of Mathematics to begin on August 2, 2010.
Responsibilities include a 3/2 teaching load, maintaining a productive scholarly agenda (field open), and contributing to the department's service mission. The minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in Mathematics or equivalent field completed by August 1, 2010, evidence of excellence in teaching, and evidence of potential for excellence in scholarship.

At least one letter of recommendation should address the applicant's teaching ability. Also, indicate on your letter of application whether you will attend the Joint Meetings in San Francisco on January 13 to 16, 2010.
