The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Florida invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant
Professors of Mathematics to begin on August 4, 2008.
Responsibilities include a 3/2 teaching load, maintaining a productive scholarly agenda (field open), and contributing to the department's
service mission. The minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in Mathematics, evidence of excellence in teaching, and evidence of potential for
excellence in scholarship.

a letter of application, a teaching statement, a research statement, the AMS standard cover sheet, a curriculum vitae, copies of graduate
transcripts, and three letters of recommendation. At least one letter of recommendation should address the applicant's teaching ability.
Also, indicate on your letter of application whether you will attend the Joint Meetings in San Diego on January 6 to 9, 2008.
