Maple Student Download for Florida Schools
**The FDLC agreement allows students from participating Florida campuses to download a license for the Maple 10 Student Edition, perpetual version for half price ($50 US). It requires students to enter a specific 'promotion code' to see the discounted price for Florida students.**
For students at participating Florida Schools, please go to: http://webstore.maplesoft.com/
You will see the following 3 steps:
1. Purchase type - click dropdown menu and select 'student'
2. Location - click dropdown menu and select United States
3. Enter promotion code: MP000072

  Fellowships & Scholarships
 

  • Graduate Teaching Assistantships are available to qualified students. The stipend is $12,000 for graduate students. The duties involve approximately 16 - 20 hours per week of teaching, grading, and office hours. Graduate Teaching Assistants enroll for 9 credits each semester. Please also have your references fill out and mail the references form.

  • Out-of-state tuition waivers and partial reimbursement of in-state fees are normally available for Graduate Teaching Assistants. The in-state and out-of-state waivers are at least 50% of the cost of the course.
     
    For Teaching Assistantships in the Fall semester, please apply before April 15 of that year.

  • Scholarship for Math Education Students

  • AT&T Labs Fellowship Program for fellowship support for women and minority students in science and engineering disciplines. Students are encouraged to apply in the year prior to graduation at the Bachelors level.

  •  
  • Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs Fellowship Program a plethora of programs for undergraduate and graduate students that are designed to encourage students to pursue careers in science, math and engineering

  • NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program for college seniors, first-year graduate students, and others who have completed a limited amount of graduate study in science, mathematics, or engineering. Women who intend to pursue graduate degrees in engineering or in computer and information science and engineering and   who meet the eligibility requirements above can apply for the additional WENG or WICS awards.

  • Department of Defense Graduate Research Fellowship Program 
  • Alice T. Schafer Mathematics Prize to be awarded to an undergraduate woman for excellence in mathematics

  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund to be awarded to a full-time Hispanic undergraduate or graduate student

  • Goldwater Scholarship to be awarded to full-time sophomores or juniors who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering; students must be nominated by MaryO. Borg at 904-620-1095 as well as fill out an application

  • AT&T Undergraduate Research Program for Women and minority students who are juniors and nongraduating seniors in science and engineering fields may apply for positions in this program run within AT&T Labs
