David Knowles Reading from His New Work Self-Storage

David Knowles is the author of the novels The Secrets of the Camera Obscura (Chronicle Books), and The Third Eye (Nan A. Talese/Doubleday). His short stories have appeared in Nerve, The Baffler, and St. Anne's Review, and he has written articles for Travel and Leisure, USA Today, and New York Newsday. His work has been translated into five languages, and he has given reading tours throughout the United States and Europe. Knowles will read from his new work, Self-Storage, which is set in Jacksonville. This lecture is sponsored by an Undergraduate Intellectual Life Grant.
