NMR Lab at Chemistry Department, UNF is equipped with one up to date Agilent
VNMRS 500 MHz instrument. It has two probes to handle routine NMR analysis. One is dual broad band PFG probe
(AutoX PFG Dual Broadband Probe) which can analyze 1H/19F in high band channel and
nuclei of frequency ranging from 50 MHz (15N) to 202MHz (31P) in low band channel.
Another probe is 1H/13C/19F triple resonance PFG probe. Both probes have
pulse field gradient function and can handle the sample at the temperature as high as 120°C.
Both probes are able to acquire not only
1D NMR experiments , e.g. 1D 1H, 13C, 19F, etc., but also 2D experiments, e.g. homonuclear 1H-1H COSY, TOCSY, NOESY and heteronuclear
(AutoX probe) HSQC and HMBC, etc..
The NMR service rates are reasonable and charged on per sample, per experiment basis.
