Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice

Dr. Brenda Vose

Brenda Vose

Assistant Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice.

Professor Vose completed her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining the faculty at UNF, she was the Academic Director of the Online Master of Science Program in Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Vose's research interests include community corrections, offender classification and effective intervention. Given the size of the offender population, budgetary constraints and the ever present concern for public safety, she believes that research efforts are needed that aim to recognize the individual risks and needs of offenders and then identify, implement and improve upon effective treatment strategies.
