A resident of Jacksonville since 1994, joining UNF COAS Advising in Fall 2010 to provide Biology, Chemistry, & Physics Area focused advising.
Prior to joining the staff at UNF, Mrs. Case-Starks worked for various Federally funded programs and Non-Profits where she developed & implemented plans as well as taught workshops on topics including Women’s Health Issues, Childbirth Preparation, Positive Discipline, and Financial Planning/Money Management.
What does advising mean to Mrs. Case-Starks?
Following the UNF Advising Philosophy, my goal is to guide all my major and minor students towards their academic goals by providing information, references, and advice. Primary tools reviewed during most sessions are a student’s Degree Evaluation & Osprey Map. In conjunction with the faculty & other staff in the Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Departments, I want to see all our majors build a strong science foundation. With this, we know they will succeed in their post-graduate programs and careers.
