Following a decision by the Board of Governors for the State University System, to use Canvas as Florida's official common learning management system, the University of North Florida conducted an open review and comment period. Based upon the recommendations of the Campus Technology Committee (CTC) and the Distance Learning Committee (DLC), the Provost announced on March 7, 2017 that UNF will adopt Canvas.
