Master Online Teacher (MOT) Certification

Faculty who have successfully completed the TOL6100 program may elect to pursue further professional development in online teaching . After careful consideration of several programs, UNF  selected the Illinois Online Network's (iON) Master Online Teacher certificate. The Master Online Teacher certificate is a national comprehensive faculty development program. The  program recognizes and certifies faculty, staff, and administrators who achieve a measurable level of knowledge related to online course design, online instruction, and other issues related to online teaching and learning.

Faculty who achieve national certification provide service to the university community as a Distance Learning Liaison, Course Reviewer, or Workshop Leader.
