Summary

New!

Jazz icons from Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday to John Coltrane and Keith Jarrett base their incomparable artistic creativity on the melodic, rhythmic and harmonic genius of America’s legendary composers.

The improvisational greatness of jazz instrumentalists and vocalists agree that their base of creativity clearly comes from the lyrical wonder of Irving Berlin, Rogers and Hart, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, and certainly Duke Ellington. The mix and match is magnificent.
