Summary
New!
The intermediate and advanced woodcarvers will find a challenging opportunity if they take this class. The class will start with refresher safety instructions, project selection, a knife sharpening review, and all students will be required to have a UNF waver on file before they can carve. Students will generally work on their own and the instructor, a Master Carver, will be available to assist in all phases of project selection, design, carving, finishing and displaying. The class will include a detail description of carving knives for students wishing to add new knives. As a rule, no carving gloves or knives will be provided. Students will work at their own pace, completing at least one project before the end of the seven-week class.
