Summary

Sharing books with young children is such fun! Explore classic children’s literature covering a variety of reading levels while gaining an understanding of the current language arts curricula. Learn strategies for improving reading skills for elementary school children. Enjoy this wonderful pastime with your grandchildren while helping them develop lifelong reading skills.

Instructor

Janet Willner Myers enjoyed a 40-year career in elementary education. Over the course of those years, she was an assistant principal and taught grades 3 through 6, Spanish and classes for the gifted. Janet holds a B.A. in American history from the University of California at Berkeley and both an M.A. and Ed.D. in educational leadership from the University of North Florida.
