Learn to combine the power of science-based coaching competencies to help people make lasting improvements to their health and well-being. Help face some of the toughest challenges of our times: the epidemics of obesity, sedentary lifestyles, stress, depression, poor nutrition, and ever-rising healthcare costs. Behavior change starts in minds and hearts, learn to help clients develop the mindsets needed to navigate the difficult path of changing lifestyles for good.

What is Health Coaching?

Health and wellness coaches facilitate a partnership and change process that enables clients to change their mindsets and develop and sustain behaviors proven to improve health and well-being, going beyond what they have been able to do alone. When training is combined with coaching, patients, customers and employees increased their productivity by an average of 88%, as compared to 22% with training alone. Health professionals who become Certified Health and Wellness Coaches have increased job opportunities and greater probability of making a positive impact on the lives of their clients and patients. Earning a certification endorsed by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) means that you have the knowledge and appropriate level of professional recognition to hold a legitimate place on the health care continuum. It makes you more attractive to large corporate organizations, public health departments, insurance companies, physician offices, wellness programs, athletic centers and should positively impact your compensation.
