Industry Advisory Council 

The Banner Center for Creative Industries Advisory Council membership is is comprised of Florida’s top leaders, nationally and internationally recognized experts in the TV, film and new media business and industry, state and regional associations, and economic development organizations.

The council provides guidance to the Banner Center for Creative Industries in its efforts to:

• Identify creative industry workforce requirements and training capabilities
• Develop/deliver creative industry training programs and expand this effort statewide
• Pursue curriculum development, industry certification, and educational research for the creative industries

We will meet on a regular basis as determined by the Council to cultivate curricula, communications, and talent. These steps are essential to building Florida as a place of excellence in creative industry careers, companies, and competitive markets. Recent research reveals there is a serious interest in connecting regional initiatives and cultivating a robust talent base that understands the up- and down-stream relationships which build creative markets and wealth for our citizens.
