With more than 25 years of experience, Elizabeth Copley is a proven leader in the delivery of large-scale business operations and technical solutions to support major strategic initiatives for wide range of corporations and state and federal government agencies. Copley’s extensive experience in implementing Project Management Offices includes the hiring, training and onboarding of project staff, executing project management control processes, scheduling and resource management with an industry standard project management tool suite, project reporting, and mentoring and coaching.Her ability to rapidly assess unique, unfamiliar project requirements and determine resources, actions and timeframes required to successfully meet any deadline has been consistently demonstrated through successful management of concurrent programs, facilitation of process improvement projects and management of enterprise-wide change-management impacts. Her strengths include team development and leadership, best-in-class program/project delivery and execution, vendor management, client relations and stakeholder communication.Prior to starting her own company, Copley Management Solutions, Inc., in 2001, Copley was a systems consultant with Ernst & Young International, a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and both a senior manager and continuing affiliate with The North Highland Company. Most recently, she was a senior program management consultant with Lender Processing Services in Jacksonville, Fla. Copley began teaching Project Management courses for UNF Continuing Education corporate clients in 2009. Copley holds Bachelors of Art degrees in both economics and business management from North Carolina State University. She has been a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1998. In 2013, she was named lead instructor for Project Management Central at the University of North Florida Division of Continuing Education.
Barbara Pratt is the founder/CEO of Project Leadership Gold, Inc., past-president of Software Nuggets, Inc. and author of Own the Forest, Delegate the Trees. She is an acclaimed business expert and a passionate, experienced trainer, author, speaker, problem-solver and workshop facilitator. With more than 25 years experience helping Fortune 1000 companies achieve multi-million/billion dollar project results, she is a skilled, practical troubleshooter. Pratt’s focus on real-world solutions rather than text-book theories is just one of the many unique training, mentoring and coaching techniques she employs. She speaks the language of business, rather than obscure or technical jargon, offers practical, on-the-job proven strategies and tactics rather than dry, flavorless theory. She works with people “in-the-trenches,” not from an ivory tower. Her focus on real-time results, rather than inspiration and motivation that fade aid in the instruction of simple, real-world systems students can repeat in current and future projects.
Pratt’s broad-based experience in strategic business analysis, program and project management, organizational change management, business process redesign and organizational development give her an innovative advantage above her peers. Directing large-scale, cross-company projects within aggressive time frames has honed her ability to relate easily, and establish rapport and trust with diverse personalities, at all levels. Adept at interviewing, strategic analysis and planning, she is an expert at the formulation of solutions that effectively meet client needs. Pratt has an extensive career in executive program management, with strong industry experience in finance, mortgage servicing, claims processing and direct-mail marketing, while working in all aspects of the business process, including Operations, IT, marketing and human resources. Her past clients and employers include Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, WellPoint, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Nuveen International, Underwriters Insurance Re, Sears, Hilton Hotels Corporation, eFunds, Tsumura International and Dyncorps. She holds a degree in business management from Averett University, and certifications from a variety of programs and institutions in the areas of leadership, change management, business process redesign, and intra and entrepreneurialship.
Tony Timbol brings more than 30 years of experience in the software and IT industries. His IT business and solution development responsibilities included requirements management, measurement and metrics, system design, construction, integration, testing and implementation in many different environments such as e-commerce, data warehousing, web hosting and client-server.
Prior to joining David Consulting Group in 2002, he was vice president, e-business solutions at Technology Point International in Jacksonville, Fla., where he led the management consulting and application development lines of business. During his tenure at Computer Associates (NYSE: CA), Timbol was a director in the Project Management Office and managed a portfolio of consulting projects. He served concurrently as the director of solutions development for CA Professional Services in the southeast, supporting national and overseas teams of systems architects and support engineers.His early career saw increasingly senior positions at Computer Management Services and Electronic Data Systems (NYSE: EDS). He began his career as an aerospace engineer with Rockwell International in 1979 and was a member of the first space shuttle launch team that culminated in the inaugural flight of STS-1, Columbia in April, 1981.
Timbol attended Florida Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in space science and physics. He is an IT-CMF Tier 2 Certified Associate from Innovation Value Institute.
