CCEC Research Colloquium: Panel Discussion - Value of ABET Accreditation

A panel discussion on the Value of ABET Accreditation will be held as part of the CCEC Research Colloquium series.

 

The panel will feature:

 

  • Dr. Asai Asaithambi, School of Computing, ABET Program Evaluator
  • Dr. Kenneth Martin, School of Computing, ABET Computing Accreditation Commissioner / Team Chair
  • Dr. Nick Hudyma, School of Engineering, ABET Assessment Scholar.

The goals of the discussion are:

 

  • To increase awareness on campus regarding ABET accreditation of Computing and Engineering programs.
  • To prepare CCEC to showcase our programs collaboratively during the upcoming ABET Review visit in October.
  • To answer questions that faculty and administration may have regarding the accreditation process.

 

 

 

The event will take place at noon on Friday, 27 September 2013, in Building 039, Room 3063.

 

Lunch will be provided by the CCEC Dean's Office.
