UNF School of Computing Students Win First Place Award (Yet Again!) in AITP National Collegiate Conference contests
UNF School of Computing seniors, Thomas Kroning and Cody Ayers, won the highest recognition 1st place award in the AITP national computer programming contest in Graphics Communication, which was held 29 March through 01 April 2012 in San Antonio, TX. The contest tests competitors’ skills in web site design and development. Participants in this contest are expected to use state-of-the-art web development tools, including cascading style sheets, script programming, and HTML. UNF students, Owais Saulat (club president) and Cody Ayers, also secured a 3rd place award in this year’s Chapter T-Shirt design contest. The Association of Information Technology Professionals
hosts its National Collegiate Conference annually. This event has grown substantially in recent years, and, this year, attendees reached a record breaking count of over 700 people representing over 60 universities in the US.
