To encourage participants to communicate and to work together. To help participants understand some of the obstacles impoverished cities face when improving their infrastructure.
Overview: Participants are divided into two groups and sent into separate rooms to build half of a bridge out of Legos that they hope will connect with the other group's half to connect the two "cities". One of the groups lives in poverty and doesn't have the same resources (Legos) that the other group has. Adding to the difficulty, the two groups can't see eachother and communication is limited to one spokesperson from each group who meet just a few times.
Reflection: A post-game discussion takes place to process the ideas and feelings created by the experience.
Number of Participants: 8+ participants.
