Sarah Rosen - Academic Major: International Studies, Literatures, and Cultures; Engagement Focus: Community-Based Work-Study, Volunteerism, and Service

Sarah Rosen, a UNF School of International Studies and Languages, Literatures, and Cultures graduate from Boca Raton Florida, has shown great dedication working with a variety of causes in the Jacksonville community through her services to organizations that include World Relief Jacksonville, the Sulzbacher Center, Habitat for Humanity, the Hubbard House, Jacksonville Humane Society, Greater Jacksonville USO, Spina Bifida of Jacksonville and others. Since her Freshman year, Sarah has participated in a variety of hands-on service projects to enhance the well-being of her community, including the role of Volunteer Coordinator of Volunteer Services, where she has helped students connect with their community through volunteerism while also participating in long-term and short-term volunteer projects herself. She has pursued other on-campus projects with the Interfaith Center, and this Spring she has helped organize Lend-A-Week, a week of volunteer educational/ hands-on opportunities for UNF students to get involved on-campus and in the community.  Through all this, Sarah firmly believes that her experiences as an undergraduate student at UNF have helped shape her into the person she is today and have helped guide her path for higher education and beyond.
