Ashley Lawrence - Academic Focus: School Counseling; Engagement Focus: Community-Based Learning and Service
Ashley Lawrence
, a College of Education and Human Services Department of School Counseling graduate from Mesa, Arizona, has shown great commitment to be a systemic change agent and advocate for the marginalized students in Duval County Public Schools. For nearly two years, Ashley has challenged existing barriers that impede students’ success by creating programs and initiatives to meet the needs of underserved students. Her mission is to empower students by bridging collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders to promote social justice, equity and educational attainment and advancement.
