Kaitlyn Rogers – Academic Major: Public Health; Engagement Focus: Volunteerism, Service, and Internship

Kaitlyn Rogers, a UNF Brooks College of Health graduate from Critz, Virginia, has shown a dedication to serving Jacksonville's community through her participation in a variety of volunteer settings. This list includes Cup of Love Ministry for Jacksonville's homeless, Life Rolls On nonprofit for the disabled, Brooks Rehabilitation Adaptive Aquatic Pediatric Recreation, an internship with Brooks Rehabilitation in their Neuro Recovery Center, and community involvement in Eta Sigma Gamma, UNF's professional health education honorary society. For the last two years, Katie has been dedicated to serving Jacksonville's disabled community through adaptive sports and recreation events.  Through activities such as surfing and swimming, Katie has helped improve the physical health, as well as the mental and emotional health, of those participating, giving them a renewed sense of purpose and an improved quality of life.
