Secondary Choral Music - Teaching and Assessment
Prerequisite: MUE 3392, MUG 3104, and MVK 2122
Description: This course focuses on directing, organizing, developing, and maintaining quality choral music programs at the secondary level. Topics include conducting, choral literature, rehearsal skills, recruitment and retention, and a balanced approach to inclusion of Florida and National standards in the classroom. Includes field experience component in public schools.
