CGN3322C: Civil Engineering Geomatics3
Prerequisite:  MAC2312. This course introduces the use of modern surveying instruments and methods commonly employed by civil engineers. Topics covered include: distance measurement, angle measurement, traverse and topographic surveys, route surveying, construction surveying, land surveys, mapping, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and preparation and submittal of survey documents. In addition, this course exposes students to state of the art computer aided design (CAD) tools used in civil engineering practice. (A laboratory fee of $30 will be assessed.)
