Course Designations
The catalog number for all courses is the number developed by the
Statewide Course Numbering System. These designations have been
developed by faculty task forces to aid the transfer process for
students with equated courses from public institutions within Florida.
Courses
are identified with an alphabetic and numeric coding system. The
alphabetic abbreviation identifies the course content and the numbers
have the following meaning:

Freshman- or sophomore-level courses |
| 3000 and 4000 series |
Junior- or senior-level courses |
| 5000 series |
Beginning graduate-level courses |
| 6000 series |
Graduate-level courses |
| 7000 series |
Doctoral-level courses |
