Horse Sense & Sensitivity enhances the life skills and confidence of people with special needs by providing equine-assisted therapeutic programs and services in the Jacksonville area.

 A true family adventure, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is growing and changing daily and is dedicated to consistently improving.



K9s For Warriors 


K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post 9/11.



K9s United 


The organization raises funds to support K9 units. Become a short term volunteer for events, or a long term volunteer to assist in data mining, research, social media, marketing, donor support, and website maintenance and more!



Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida 


Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (LRRoF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing Labrador Retrievers in loving permanent homes.



Pit Sisters 


Pit Sisters is a rescue group dedicated to saving shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia and giving them the opportunity to eventually thrive and be adopted into loving homes. We also run the TAILS program, Teaching Animals and Inmates Life Skills, a program that brings together prison inmates and the rescued dogs. At the Doc Tony TAILS Center, we house dogs who have either graduated from the TAILS program and are waiting for adoption, as well as dogs who have just come from the shelter and are waiting for a spot in the TAILS training program. 




 All rescued animals at the Safe Animal Shelter are provided food, shelter, loving care, attention, socialization, recreation, exercise and quality medical treatment.



Tree Hill Nature Preserve


Tree Hill Nature Center promotes environmental stewardship to the community through hands-on educational programs and low-cost access to natural spaces.



  Wild Life Rescue Coalition


The Wild Life Rescue Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of injured, orphaned, and displaced wild animals such as raccoons, squirrels and opossums.
