The mutual goal of both our faculty and Career Services is student success. By working together, faculty and Career Services can ensure the transition from student to a member of the work force is as seamless as possible.Career Services offers comprehensive services, programs, and resources to help students and alumni understand their skills, values and personality characteristics, make important career decisions about majors and career paths, and develop important job readiness skills including resume writing and job interviewing. If you would like to refer your student to Career Services have them come to our reception area in Founders Hall (Building 2) , Suite 1100 or have them call (904) 620-2955. Career Services serves not only our students and alumni, but also our faculty and staff. As as faculty or staff member you may wish to schedule a class presentation through our office. Our staff is ready to address any such needs you may have. We have a series of set workshops we offer or we can customize presentations to meet your needs. Don't Cancel Class Program Missing a class may sometimes be unavoidable. When those situations arise, our "Don't Cancel Class" program provides a way for your class to meet as usual, but with one of our career professionals who will deliver a career-related presentation designed to help students prepare for the world of work.Presentations we could bring to your class, tailored as needed to your particular students include
Collaborative Career Programs
Each year, in collaboration with faculty members, student groups, and administrative offices, Career Services coordinates a variety of career development programs for students. These events include keynote speakers, panel presentations, and open forums to provide opportunities for students to explore career options.
