Nonprofit Center Internship 

Job summary:
The
Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida enables a thriving nonprofit leadership, facilitating collective action and enhancing public understanding.

We provide numerous services to local nonprofit organizations with the most visible and valuable benefits advocating on issues impacting the nonprofit sector; providing expert direction on a wide range of subjects in nonprofit management and development; sponsoring seminars, networking and peer learning opportunities; and commissioning research on issues affecting nonprofit.

We're looking to bring an intern on board to perform operational and administrative functions and to provide a valuable, learning experience.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Assisting with copying, filing, and mail distribution.
• Working in our on-site resource library.
• Creating Membership packets.
• Assisting with e-newsletter and social media sites.
• Nonprofit sector and policy research.


Operations, Communications and Marketing assistance.

• Assist with Nonprofit Center website resources, including online library, resources, calendar, and announcement pages, and the nonprofit job and Board postings.

• Assistance with maintaining and updating projects on WeGive.org.

• Assistance with maintaining and updating Give and Go! registrations.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:
• College student, preferably a Junior, Senior, or graduate student.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, Publisher, and Word.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• A self-starter with a desire to learn.
• Good sense of humor.

 

Education and experience:
• No prior internship experience necessary.
• Hours are flexible.
• This is an unpaid internship.
