The Fiorentino Group Intern Position  

Position: Unpaid intern

 

Reports to:

Scheduling and Special Projects Coordinator

 

Overall responsibility:

Interface with all members of staff to ensure necessary tasks are completed

 

Key areas of responsibility:

·Research and writing projects

·Complete any assigned tasks including but not limited to: filing, answering

phones, staff transport, supply room management, sorting of mail, etc.

·Interns will at times be required to shadow employees during meetings, phone

calls, and other appointments. These activities will provide exposure to all

aspects of government relations.

 

Consults with: 

·All levels of management and support staff

Term of employment:

The course of the school semester during employment

 

Qualifications: 

·Excellent research and writing skills

·Interest in political science and business development

·Good organizational and people skills

·Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds

·Familiarity with Microsoft programs e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook

·Miscellaneous office skills (e.g., phones, typing, filing)
