This workshop is for beginners to LinkedIn and will guide you through the process of setting up a profile, and learning how to use it to effectively network for internships and other career related information and leads. .   It also focuses on Social Media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. and how these social media sites can expand your network.

Going to Graduate school is not your only option after graduation but it might be an important one to consider depending on the career path you choose.  This workshop helps you decide if graduate school is really necessary to pursue your career goals.  Learn how to research and gather information about specific graduate programs and schools.  Understand what is required in terms of application materials, testing, scholarships, and deadlines.

“YOUR COLLEGE CAREER ON ONE PAGE: RESUME WRITING”
They say an employer will spend 5 to 7 seconds looking at your resume.  Effective resumes and letters grab the attention of interviewers. Poor ones end up in the "round file."  This workshop will consider format, content, style, and layout in resume writing and will present many examples.  Learn how to build your resume through volunteer activities, internships, part-time jobs, student clubs, professional memberships, class projects, and much more.
