UNF Postal Services provides an essential link, ensuring the efficient flow of mail between the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and the campus community, while maximizing cost savings to the University by focusing on automation and education of users. It covers topics such as proper addressing, enclosures, envelopes, interdepartmental mail, U.S. mail classifications, specialized services, and other information basic to your everyday needs. The U. S. Postal Service has announced proposed price changes, including an increase in the price of a first-class mail, single-piece letter from 46 to 49 cents. If the increase is approved, other highlights of the new single-piece, first-class mail pricing, which could become effective Jan. 26, 2014, include:

  • Letters (1 oz.): 3-cent increase to 49 cents
  • Letters additional ounces: 1-cent increase to 21 cents
  • Letters to all international destinations (1 oz.): $1.15
  • Postcards: 1-cent increase to 34 cents
