Public Health Undergraduate Programs
Bachelor of Science in Health
A comprehensive degree that prepares graduates for entry into a wide variety of health professions. Click on any of the tracks for more information.
Track: Community Health
Prepares students for careers in health promotion and health education. Students may minor in aging/adult studies, exercise science or health education.
Track: Health Administration
Prepares graduates for entry-level administrative positions in public and private sector service organizations.
Track: Nutrition
Teaches nutrition, food science and food service management to prepare students for careers in food and nutrition. Successful completion of this program allows students to compete for dietetic internship / AP4 programs in pursuit of registered dietitian status.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet minimum requirements for admission to undergraduate programs as established by the State University System and the University of North Florida. It is essential all program prerequisites be completed by the second semester of enrollment at UNF. See the corresponding sections for further information. All programs presuppose that students have sufficient academic background to pursue the professional courses provided in the Brooks College of Health.
