The School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Accreditation (CCNE). CCNE is the accrediting body of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). The School of Nursing is scheduled to receive its next CCNE visit February 11-13, 2015.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs were accredited without recommendation by the CCNE in October 2010 for 10 years. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) received 5 year initial accreditation without recommendation by the CCNE in October 2010. The University of North Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.
