Biography

Currently an adjunct professor in the Educational leadership program at UNF and a Dissertation Chair for doctoral dissertation students at the University of Phoenix Online. Previously, he was an assistant professor of Educational Leadership at Augusta State University in Georgia, an adjunct professor for undergraduate students in the Human Resource Development program at Barry University, and a Science Instructor at Florida A&M University Developmental Research School. He served on various university committees and was appointed as the chair of the Scholarship Committee in the College of Education

Taught at several Elementary, Middle and High schools, and was employed as a Program Specialist IV for Title I in the Bureau of Student Assistance in Florida Department of Education.

Published several research articles in professional blind reviewed journals and presented papers at AERA, the International Conference held by the American Institute of Higher Education, International Comparative Education and the North East Florida Conference on Educational Assessment.

He is a member of the American Educational Research Association and Florida Educational Research Association.
Awarded US aid funding ($200,000) for the training of math and science teachers facilitated by Florida A&M University.
Volunteer at the Big Bend Habitat for Humanity and is a Boardmember of the Lutheran Social Services of North Florida.

Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of services provided in 2005-2006 as an F school Volunteer for Florida’s Assistance Plus (school improvement) Schools by the Commissioner of Florida Department of Education (2006).

Awarded a Certification of Appreciation by the Florida A&M University Developmental Research School Student Advisory Council (2004).

Awarded US aid funding ($ 200, 000) through the Florida A & M University. The African –American Institute (AAI) program which promotes enlightened engagement between Africa and America through education, training and dialogue. Under the rubric of AFTECH (African technology for Education and Workforce Development Initiative), the AAI partnered with Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and the Ministry of Basic Education in Namibia to bring 13 Namibian math and science teachers and school administrators to the U.S. to meet with their counterparts in various cities under a U.S. State Department–funded exchange program to improve curricula and teaching methods utilized in Namibian primary and secondary schools (2004).

Awarded the Frick Scholarship in the College of Education, FSU. (2002).

Awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to study for a Ph.D. at FSU. (2000).
