Biography
Dr. Katie Monnin received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (with a concentration in literacy) in 2008 from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
Dr. Monnin is now an Assistant Professor of Literacy at the University of North Florida. She is also the author of Teaching Graphic Novels (2010) and Teaching Early Reader Comics & Graphic Novels (2011). You can find out more about Dr. Monnin and her work with comics and graphic novels online at:
