Biography
Dr Loriz is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing. She is is the director for the School of Nursing and Interim Chair for the Department of Clinical and Applied Movement Sciences. Dr Loriz is a Nurse Practitioner and maintains a part-time practice at Student Health Services. Her early career started in Washington, DC where she worked closely with HIV/AIDS patients. After completing her PhD, she moved to Florida where she began her employment at the University of North Florida.
Dr Loriz is a beaches resident. She is married to Tony Flaris. Her main hobby is scuba diving, particularly cave diving throughout Florida.
