Ranger Challenge

Ranger Challenge is often considered the varsity sport of Army ROTC. Ranger Challenge Cadets focus on basic army skill to include basic rifle marksmanship, APFT, land navigation, Rope Bridge, weapon assembly/disassembly and 10k road march. Ranger Challenge Cadets attend 6th brigade ranger challenge competition where they compete against 42 other schools in our brigade. This past Year University of North Florida assisted University of Florida in placing 2nd of 24 teams in their tier, placing the highest in University of Florida’s history. This year University of North Florida hopes to take their first team ever to the Ranger Challenge Competition at Fort Benning, GA.

Color Guard

University of North Florida Army Color Guard provides cadets with a unique opportunity to serve in the color guard for a variety of sports and other events. University of North Florida ROTC Color Guard participated in University of North Florida 2010 Open Meet as well as UNF Army ROTC yearly award ceremony.
