Administration and FinanceTip of the Week - September 4, 2007'Dial 0' Telephone OptionIn the UNF telephone system, it is possible to define another telephone number to be dialed when a caller presses "0". This feature is called "Custom Operator". This feature does not call an operator, it simply rings another telephone. If the Custom Operator's telephone does not answer, the caller will reach the voicemail of the Custom Operator, NOT the person who was initially called. To have Custom Operator set up or changed, submit an ITS Request at https://help.unf.edu/ and specify your phone extension and the extension of the person who will assist callers in your absence. Questions may be directed to the ITS Support Center at ext. 4357 (HELP) or its-support@unf.edu. Visit http://www.unf.edu/anf/tip/ to read additional Administration and Finance tips.
