Administration and FinanceTip of the Week - June 18, 2007New Finance Self-Service Tool AvailableOver the course of the past several months the Financial Systems team has been working with a number of departments and ITS to develop a way for those groups who collect revenue to identify their fund balance in a quick and meaningful way. This new tool is now available on Finance Self-Service by selecting the Finance tab and then selecting the Trial Balance link at the bottom. Enter the Fund, FY (the current or prior 2 years), the period, and whether the report format should be summary or detail and select "Create Report". The summary report will consolidate all of your expenditures where as the detail format will return the aggregated total of expenses in each account. This information is available for download into Excel for further analysis. Questions about this tip can be directed to Michael Biagini at ext. 2036.
