Administration and FinanceTip of the Week - April 30, 2007AOL Relocations/Surplus FurnitureWhen Administrative Offices relocate to the AOL Building, some departments will have surplus furniture that will not be stored. All inventoried furniture (UNF Decal) must be accounted for by Property and if your department will not be relocating furniture/equipment, it must be transferred to another department or identified as surplus. To transfer to another department, you may run a notice in the Campus Update advising what is available for transfer and complete the Property Transfer Request. Should the furniture be considered surplus, complete the Survey Request Form and obtain required signatures for disposal. These forms are located on the following website: http://www.unf.edu/dept/controller/property/index.html This procedure should be followed anytime there is a need to transfer or dispose of departmental furniture and/or equipment.
