Approximately 100 to 200 wild rose species grow naturally
around the world in the northern hemisphere. Like most garden roses, this one
is complex hybrids of these species. Carefree Sunshine is a vigorous,
disease-resistant shrub rose with yellow flowers produced over a long season. It
grows three to four feet tall.

Medium-sized shrub to about four or five feet tall.
Light: full sun to part shade
Water: well-drained soil, somewhat drought tolerant
Soil: average garden soil, responds well to fertilizer
In general, roses flower on new growth. Encouraging new
growth with irrigation and fertilizer results in more flowers. Keep the foliage
as dry as possible to avoid foliage diseases. Good air circulation helps
control fungal disease.
