Remote Access Windows Vista Instructions

These are instructions to access the ITS remote desktop service using Windows Vista.

Step1

 

  1. Click the start circle
  2. Type in 'remote'
  3. Click 'Remote Desktop Connection'

Step2

 

  1. Type 'rds.unf.edu' into the computer textbox
  2. Click 'connect'

Step3

For the first time that you set up this connection you will have to type in 'UNFCSD\' right before your n number in the username field.  After you have done this once it will remember and you won't have to type it in again.

 

  1. Type in your n number and password, remember to add in 'UNFCSD\' before your n number.
  2. Click 'ok'

Step4

To log off the remote desktop:

  1. Click 'Start'
  2. Click 'log off'
