About the Swoopapalooza Program
UNF’s Orientation Program, "SWOOPAPALOOZA" is a mandatory program filled with informational sessions, academic advising, course registration, and meeting and interacting with other incoming Ospreys.
The Spring Swoopapalooza program is a one-day program filled with activities and events. You will meet with UNF’s academic faculty and staff, get your UNF Osprey1Card (student ID card), academic advising, course registration, participate in workshop sessions and the student affairs showcase. Many of the programs are for students and parents to attend together. However, there will be some activities that are just for students (academic advising and course registration is a student-only activity). During the time of the student-only programs there will be a separate Parents Session. See the Parents Orientation Website.
It is MANDATORY students attend all of the functions of the orientation program however, it is not mandatory that the parents attend.
