Use this check-list as your guide to prepare you for your first semester at UNF. If you have questions at any time during the process please contact the UNF Orientation Office (newtounf@unf.edu / 904-620-1183).
These items need to be completed PRIOR to attending Swoopapalooza!
Submit and clear your Health Immunization Records Your Health Records must be turned in and cleared with the UNF Office of Medical Compliance. Click here for additional information and forms.
Make a Student Orientation Reservation
Make a Parent / Guest Orientation Reservation
Check mail for Orientation Confirmation letter
Your confirmation packet will be mailed to you 7-10 days after your reservation has been entered into the system.
Fill out UNF "Direct Deposit" Form
This form will be mailed to you in your confirmation packet. Please fill it out and bring it with you to your scheduled orientation session. At that time you will turn it into the Cashier's Office.
Set-up email account in MyWings and check regularly
These items will be completed DURING Swoopapalooza!
Get UNF OspreyCard - Student ID
You will need to bring with you a current picture ID such as a driver's licence or passport. The cost for the card is rolled in with your tuition.
Meet with an Academic Advisor
Register for Classes
Purchase textbooks You can visit the UNF Bookstore or go online at efollett.com. Some textbooks for the Fall semester may not be available at the time of your scheduled orientation session.
Submit "Direct Deposit" form
Turn this into the Cashier's Office. They will have a booth on the lobby of the Orientation Program.

Swipe Meal Plan onto OspreyCard
Summer Students: Pay Tuition
Students attending the Summer 2008 term will be able to go ahead and pay tuition. Fees are due by Wednesday, July 2, 2008. All fees are paid at the Cashier's Office or online via MyWings.
Summer Students: Purchase Summer Parking Decal
Students attending the Summer 2008 term will be able to go ahead and purchase their parking decal for the summer term. Decals are purchased at the Cashier's Office.
These items will be completed AFTER Swoopapalooza!

Fall Students: Pay Tuition
Students attending the Fall 2008 term will have until the end of August to pay Fall determined by the time the orientation sessions take place. Fall tuition is due by Friday, August 29th. All fees are paid at the Cashier's Office or online via MyWings.
Fall Students: Purchase Parking Decal
Students attending the fall 2008 term will be able to purchase their parking decal sometime in August. Please check MyWings for the specific date decals become available. You can purchase a decal in the Cashier's Office or online through MyWings.
