North Florida

Courtney Morrot, Admissions Coordinator

Courtney joined UNF Admissions in 2010 after graduating from UNF with a B.A. in Sociology. In addition to working at the UNF Bookstore throughout her undergraduate career, she also participated in the Honors Program and lived on campus. Courtney graduated from Fleming Island High School, and as a "local," she loves being able to travel in Northeast Florida to share her experience of UNF with prospective students.

 

Bree Wynne, Admissions Coordinator 

Bree brings valuable admissions experience to the UNF admissions team after spending four years recruiting. She is excited about representing UNF in the local region to prospective students and share all that is unique and wonderful about UNF. She is originally from Dallas, Texas but has also spent time in Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. When not on official UNF business, Bree enjoys watching television and movies, visiting theme parks, and exploring her new home state of Florida.

 

Florida Panhandle

Ryan Walker, Admissions Coordinator 

Ryan joined admissions after working with students at UNF in One-Stop Student Services. He is originally from St. Cloud, Florida and spent time in Tallahassee pursuing his undergraduate degree. When he’s not traveling in West Florida he enjoys finding new trails for biking and exploring new places. 

 

Central Florida 

Brittany Stromquist, Admissions Coordinator

Britt has been a part of the admissions team since August of 2013. Before becoming a coordinator, she was a student admissions assistant within the office. She graduated from UNF with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications with a Concentration in Public Relations and minored in Criminal Justice in April of 2013. Britt has been very involved with UNF during her collegiate career: she was a part of our Swoop Squad volunteer tour guide and orientation team leader, a sister of Alpha Chi Omega, Panhellenic President, Kappa Sigma Sweetheart and a Senator in Student Government. Britt is very excited to be working in admissions and guiding students through their collegiate experience and helping them become the best possible college student they can be. Britt will be starting her Master’s Degree in Higher Education at UNF this summer.

 

West Florida 

Robyn Cortello, Admissions Coordinator

Robyn is the newest addition to our UNF Admissions family. She graduated from UNF in December of 2013 with her B.A. in Elementary Education. During her time as a student at UNF she lived on campus and was very involved in the Honors Program. Robyn was also a Facilitator for a Freshman Honors class in 2010 and began to work for the Admissions office and then the Honors Program as a student assistant. She is happy to be back in Admissions helping prospective students learn about the opportunities UNF can provide. When she is not traveling she enjoys bowling and spending time with friends and family. 

 

Southeast Florida and the Keys 

Jessica Caywood, Admissions Coordinator

Jessica has been a part of the admissions team since 2011. Before joining the admission’s team Jessica worked in the International Center at UNF. Jessica’s experience with UNF extends well past her work experience.  She graduated from UNF with her B.A. in Art History. After receiving her Bachelor’s from UNF she spent time teaching abroad before finding her passion helping prospective students have the same transformational experiences that she had at UNF.  When not traveling in Southeast Florida and Miami meeting prospective students for UNF, Jessica loves to explore new places typically with a good book in hand. 

Transfer Recruitment 

Marc Berkovits, Admissions Coordinator

As a lifelong Floridian, Marc is proud to have earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree in political science here in the Sunshine State.  Marc is committed to finding a home at UNF for transfer students and welcoming them to our Ospery flock. When not on campus or on the road, Marc can be found every weekend at the movies with his wife.

 

International Admission

Alexis Branaman, Admissions Coordinator

Alexis joined the UNF International Center in 2012 as the International Student Recruiter. She is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and spent time in Fort Worth, Texas pursuing her undergraduate degree. After graduating, she worked with study abroad students at her alma mater. Alexis travels the world to recruit students for the university. She looks forward to assisting international students in their university research and application process.

  

Out of State 

Kara Tucker, Admissions Coordinator 

Kara is proud to be an alumni of UNF having received both her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree and her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling degree. She recently received a Graduate Certificate of Rehabilitation Leadership and Management. Kara is a native of Neptune Beach, Florida. In addition to working in Admissions she serves on City Council. Kara is dedicated to helping students achieve their goals and is always on the “look out” for prospective OSPREYS!

 

In Office Coordinators 

Peter Durr, Admissions Coordinator

As one of the longest serving Coordinators on the staff, Peter joined the Admission’s Team in February of 2010. He arrived at UNF after serving over 30 years as an officer in the United States Army, a career that  included over 23 years of assignments overseas. His international and real world experience brings a unique perspective to the office and he relishes his opportunity at UNF to assist students in attaining their educational goals. In addition to his duties in Admissions, Peter also enthusiastically serves as a Professor of German language studies on Campus.  As a former Collegiate Division 1 and semi-professional  soccer player in Germany, Peter is a passionate “Bundesliga Fussball” and Bayern Munich fan.
