1. What are the minimum requirements for admissions into the University of North Florida as a freshman? |
The following college preparatory academic units in high school are required for incoming freshmen at UNF: |
- Four units of English (at least three including a substantial amount of writing)
- Three units of mathematics (Algebra 1 or above)
- Three units of natural sciences (at least two with laboratories)
- Three units of social sciences
- Two units of the same foreign language
- Four units of academic electives.

UNF recalculates the high school grade point average based on college/university bound academic courses, and additional weight to grades earned in Honors, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. SAT and ACT score minimums depend upon High School GPA. The Incoming Freshman Requirements page has more information. |

2. Are there special requirements for international students wanting to attend UNF? |
| International applicants are considered for admissions on the same basis as domestic applicants, with a few additional requirements for immigration and health purposes. |
Please note that because of international mail and other time factors, general application deadlines for international applicants are as follows:

7. Is Greek life available at UNF? |
YES! Check out http://www.unfgreeks.com. UNF has 17 National Greek Chapters (fraternities and sororities) on campus, and we are growing with each new semester (5 new chapters are on the way right now). Just over a year ago, there were fewer than 500 students within UNF's fraternities and sororities; now there are over 1,200! Greek Life is thriving at the University of North Florida. Greek Housing is on its way; it's a great time to GO GREEK! Ready for the impact? |

8. How can I tour UNF? |
There are several options available to tour UNF. Guided campus tours are available by appointment Monday through Friday. Contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a tour, or view tour information online. If these times are not convenient, self-guided tour pamphlets are available at the front desk of the Office of Admissions. |
