What internship, fieldwork, service learning, and/or practicum opportunities are available in your program?

Legislative Practica – In Congress. 2 white House fellows, in local offices of members of Congress and the Senate, Office of the Governor and state legislatures. City of Jacksonville, City Council, City Attorney, etc.

What opportunities are available for undergraduate research or creative projects in your program?

Many research projects with faculty. Chris Cox/Dr. Harwood had a successful project last year which resulted in interviews of Dir Homeland Defense and a publication

What study abroad opportunities are available in your department?

Drs. Schwam-Baird and Zeiser have conducted studies abroad to Europe and Brazil . This year Dr. Choi will conduct a study abroad to Korea for joint student research at ???? University.

What other transformational and experiential learning opportunities exist for your students?  

The new non-profit graduate course in the Spring will work with strategic planning with local non-profit agencies under Dr. Voorhees' supervision.
