Information for Faculty

All faculty are encouraged to participate in the Commencement ceremony, as they have played a significant role in the development and nurturing of the graduates crossing the stage.

RSVP: Faculty interested in participating in the processional must RSVP to jurbano@unf.edu, to ensure that there is enough seating to accomodate all faculty participants. Faculty are also invited to attend the President's Reception between the ceremonies. It will be held in the President's Conference Room (1/2800), 1:00 - 2:30pm, and RSVP's can be sent to jurbano@unf.edu.

Regalia: The deadline for faculty to order regalia through the bookstore is November 13, 2009. Regalia will be available for pickup in the bookstore starting November 30, 2009. It must be returned to the bookstore within the week following graduation. For convenience, boxes will be placed in the faculty robing room in the Arena for the return of regalia after the ceremony. These boxes will be returned to the bookstore the week after Commencement.

PLEASE NOTE: The bookstore has moved to its new location in the Student Union. All regalia will be dispensed from the NEW location.

Processional: Faculty should assemble for the processional in the Faculty Robing Room 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. To avoid the crowds at the front of the Arena, please use the faculty entrance at the rear of the building.
