Pamela A. Zeiser
Political Science and Public Administration

Pamela Zeiser is Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Administration and the International Studies Program Director. She earned her Ph.D. at the Claremont Graduate University and has been at UNF since 1998, teaching undergraduate comparative politics and international relations courses. This is her third Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. Two years ago, Pam introduced into the International Studies Capstone Seminar an activity she calls “Discussions Across Borders,” through which UNF students engage in on-line discussions with students at the University of Munster in Germany. Students at both universities share common reading assignments to promote discussion and the activity culminates in reflective essays for both groups of students, in which they compare and contrast the ways in which culture and country affected their discussions. The project has been a great learning experience for her students – and for Pam.
